This is mainly because Prague suffered less damages during World War II than other european countries.
The significant Old square with the Prague astronomical Clock is only a few minutes stroll from the Charles Bridge . Opposite the the astronomical clock ist the old Hall. The view form the tower of the olf town Hall is simply breathtaking. There is variety of Pubs,Bars and Restaurants around the Old town square. From here ,you can go on on a walk and discover the sorroundings. The Venue is a precious modern germ pefect for a coffee break on your Old town journey.
The main sites are the ominent and picturesque Charles Bridge. The Charles Bridge is one of the main Tourist attractions in Prague, implying you literally have to "fight" your way through in order to get an adequate view of this great architectural wonder. I would recommend to visit the Bridge quite early in the morning or at dawn. There are less tourists and the view is definitely worth it. You can access the Bridge towers on both sides of the Bridge for a better view. Before or after visiting the jewish quarter, you should definitely pay the Marina Ristorante a visit. The excuisite cuisine and the picturesque view on the Charles Bridge is worth the stay.
